Expert Event Security & Stewarding

PSG UK Security has extensive experience delivering security and stewarding services at events of all sizes — from intimate private functions to large-scale concerts and festivals. Our teams are trained to manage crowds, control access, and respond to incidents swiftly and professionally. All event security operatives hold current SIA licences, are BS 7858 screened, and have completed ACT (Action Counters Terrorism) training — the nationally recognised programme that prepares security personnel to identify and respond to terrorist threats in crowded places.

PSG UK maintains a strong awareness of Martyn's Law (the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act) and its implications for event venues and organisers. Our operatives are briefed on venue-specific emergency action plans, evacuation procedures, and suspicious activity reporting. For events and stadiums, our stewards also hold NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety — the industry-standard qualification for managing crowds at live events. All event operations are conducted in accordance with the Purple Guide to Health, Safety and Welfare at Music and Other Events, which sets the national standard for the safe management of festivals, concerts, and large-scale public gatherings, and the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (the Green Guide) where applicable to sports venues. We work closely with event organisers, local authorities, and emergency services to develop bespoke security plans that ensure every event runs safely and smoothly from start to finish.
